At Preschool Lammet, our Christian values provide a secure foundation. Every child is equally valuable and loved just as they are. We have two departments, Ekorren (The Squirrel) for ages 1-5 and Haren (The Hare) for ages 1-5. We have space for 28 children and are a team of 6 educators working together.

The Workplace

The Backa Pastorate has four preschools located in Tuve, Hisings Backa, Säve, and Hisings Kärra. The preschools have a total of six departments that collaborate with each other and share a common principal and operational plan. The preschools are guided by a Christian profile, which means we work towards a common goal of showing children knowledge and understanding of church traditions and holidays. The focus is on ensuring children experience a safe and positive preschool environment characterized by the belief that all people are equally valuable. Children are seen as competent individuals where differences are an asset. The value base is an important part of all work at the preschool, and the goal is that everyone is treated with respect and care.

Preschool Lammet is located in the same building as the Backa Parish Centre and has a pleasant outdoor yard and nice indoor environments designed according to the children's interests and needs. You can easily reach the workplace by bus 18 & 19, taking about 10 minutes from Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher (barnskötare) and have experience working in a preschool. You have the ability to create safe and trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. As a person, you are engaged, creative, and present in your interactions with the children. You are curious and co-researching in your approach to work and have a genuine interest in listening to, inspiring, and challenging children's learning and development.

You take responsibility for your assignment, see opportunities in everyday life, and contribute with a positive and solution-focused attitude. Collaboration is a natural part of your work, while you dare to think new thoughts and develop both yourself and the operations together with your colleagues. The best interests of the children are always the starting point in your work.

In collaboration with the work team, you plan, implement, and follow up on the operations based on the preschool's steering documents. You have a reflective working style, are open to new ideas, and enjoy developing the operations. We would like you to be structured, proactive, and well-acquainted with Lpfö 18, revised 2025.

In reference to the laws governing register control, the person offered this position must present an extract from the criminal record register before an employment contract can be established. For this position, you need to be a member of the Church of Sweden.

Interview
